The business is supported by a roasting and packaging facility located in the Borough of Moonachie, Bergen County, New Jersey along with a workforce of 115 employees.

The acquisition is expected to expand MZB's total food service coffee business to more than 125 million pounds.

MZB COO John Boyle said the acquisition allows the company to roast and package gourmet coffees for the current and future food service customers.

Virginia-based MZB is a subsidiary of the privately held Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group.
