DBR Staff Writer Published 30 May 2013

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) has entered into a multiyear agreement with International Coffee & Tea to make The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand available in K-Cup packs for the Keurig single cup brewing system.

The new line of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf K-Cup packs will join GMCR's family of beverage brands and will be available at a variety of channels in the US from spring 2014.

GMCR president and CEO Brian Kelley said: "Our strategy to partner with world-class coffee and tea brands like The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® further broadens consumer choice in the Keurig® system and helps us provide a wide range of beverages for every taste."

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf president and CEO Mel Elias said that this new deal will expand the company's reach to more customers.

"We look forward to working with GMCR to bring our products to even more homes with Keurig Brewed® quality and convenience," Elias added.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a privately-held specialty coffee and tea retailer in the US that offers a diverse selection of the coffees and teas.
